There is nothing better than a customer build computer, I have been building my own for years. You get what you want and are not stuck with whatever Dell, HP puts in it. And you get an actual Windows Operating system DVD and don’t have to make it yourself

  2. John hubert 305 says:

You guys are doing great stuff now im interested about computers again thanks

  3. Patrick says:

A question for you Carey. I am starting my own home-based computer repair business. I am taking the right steps (legally) but am still confused about retail. Can you bill a customer that you bought parts/built a computer for as a service or do you need a retailer’s license?

  4. William says:

This maybe a lame question but I was wondering what you consider to be the BEST anti-virus program

I’m 32 years old and every since I saw Carey’s youtube video where he built a gamming computer, I’ve just gone Computer nuts. I download your podcast daily. I’ve now listened to all the tech-vets podcast for 2013 and now I’m moving on to mike’s shows Wich I will be listening to today. anyways I love the show and even though I’m lost most of the time I keep listening and am learning a lot. Like I said I’m 32 years old and I’m nuts about this feild and passionatly desire a career in computer repair so my question is what would be my best options to begin in this feild? Would it be best for me to go to school or self learn? and with me being 32 years old what can I expect to come up against reguarding my age and what would be the best ways of overcoming the adversities that are coming my way? I guess I am realy just asking for some guidance. Thank you guys for doing such a great job with your videos and podcast. You have helped me to find one of my passions in life. Thank yo
